I went on a long hike across the mountains and down in to Lysefjord.

I saw Justin Townes Earle perform this old Lightning Hopkins song at the Vancouver Folk Festival maybe 15 years ago. I don’t know which version I like better, so I include both here.

Emmylou suggests Gram Parsons is remember in Europe, when he is largely forgotten in the US. Yet, I have never met anyone in Europe who knows Gram Parsons, or his legacy. But I will link to this recording so that I can always find it.

I’ve gone through some pictures I took in Michigan while passing through.

I am going through old photographs from my labs, especially Wandlowski’s labs, for an upcoming project (more on that later). And I came upon this snapshot I took of a poster that went up a few months after I arrived in Bern. I don’t know if I am that bad at electrochemistry, and I am certain Yongchun is not that bad at mathssss. But it certainly made me laugh.
